Housing Rehabilitation Program

The City of Brawley offers a housing rehabilitation program for owner-occupied homes. This program enables income qualified families to make needed health and safety repairs to their home. Loans are:

- Provided at an interest rate of 0-3%. Amortized and Deferred.

- Applicants must own the home and reside on the property for a minimum of one year.

- Loan amount depends on the severity of the repairs needed and the amount of equity in the home.

Homeownership Assistance Program

This program is intended to offer first-time homebuyers assistance to low and very low households for the purchase of qualified homes in the City of Brawley. These loans will enable applicants to qualify for permanent financing of single-family homes.  The loans are for gap funding only.

First time home buyer means an individual(s) who have not owned a home during the three-year period before the purchase of a home with program assistance.
