Brawley, CA — The City of Brawley is providing an update on the Western Avenue Street Improvements Project, an effort focused on enhancing roadway conditions and improving safety for residents and motorists. Construction activities are scheduled as follows:

Construction Schedule

• April 10-22, 2026: Roadway resurfacing and pavement treatments, including milling, paving, and surface applications.

• May 6-8, 2026: Final striping and signage installation.

During construction, residents can expect temporary lane closures, traffic delays, and limited street parking during work hours. Motorists are encouraged to follow all posted signage and detour routes to ensure safety for both drivers and construction crews.

The City appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed to provide a safer, smoother, and more reliable roadway for all.
