Today, the City of Brawley is excited to share a major milestone in the Lion’s Center Pool renovation project. With contractors now mobilized on-site and demolition activities officially underway, visible progress is happening at the pool once again — and we’re pleased to share photos from this morning’s work.

Recent accomplishments include:

✔️ Execution of a change order with CA Commercial Pools, advancing the renovation into its active construction phase.
✔️ Approval of an agreement with The Holt Group to oversee construction management and help ensure the project stays on schedule.
✔️ Mobilization and initial demolition began today, marking the start of hands-on renovation work.

With construction now in motion, the project remains on track for completion in Spring 2026.

The City knows how important this pool is to our community — a place where families gather, kids learn to swim, and summer memories are made. We appreciate your continued patience and support as we work to restore this valued community asset.
