Emergency Knox Box

Emergency Knox Box

A Knox box is a secure key box that is mounted on the exterior of the building. This box is used for quick access to the building and is only used in the event of a fire, fire alarm or other emergencies involving the fire department. The fire department is the only department within the city that has access to this box. Each city is different in that every city has its own set of keys.

Every building that has a fire protection system shall have a Knox box on the exterior of the building.
