Community Development Services mission is to provide an excellent level of service in Building inspection and plan checking to builders while incorporating proactive code enforcement in order to improve the safety and appearance of the City. The Department also provides for the improvement of the quality of life for low and moderate income households by the elimination of blight and rehabilitation of the housing stock with a variety of methods, including low interest loans, grants and homeownership assistance.
